Car Crash, Person Trapped - Marsden Park

Shortly before 1:30pm this afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to reports of a car accident on Richmond Road, Marsden Park.

Blacktown Fire Station were first to arrive on the scene and discovered a car had been involved in an accident, causing it to flip on its side and trap the driver.

While NSW Ambulance assessed the driver, who had sustained a knock to the head, FRNSW crews worked to stabilise the car.

Firefighters then proceeded in the extraction of the driver by cutting into the cars roof, to create a flap.

Traffic in the area is heavy and drivers are advised to use an alternative route where possible. Please drive with caution.
