Published: 31 Aug 2020 02:47pm

At 2:45pm today, Fire and Rescue NSW was alerted to a vehicle incident on the Pacific Highway, south of Cooks Lane. The driver had driven off the road and into a wire fence, trapping the vehicle.

Nambucca Heads Fire Station arrived on the scene shortly after to find the driver had managed to free himself from the vehicle, however, it was now dangling precariously at a 45 degree angle.

Fire and Rescue crews, together with a tow truck and the help of NSW Police, were able to stabilise the vehicle and return it safely back to the road.
