House Fire - North Wagga Wagga

Just before 1am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW received the first of many Triple Zero (000) calls to reports of a house fire on Hampden Ave in North Wagga Wagga.

Firefighters from Turvey Park and Wagga Wagga arrived to find a two level house on fire with flames through the roof.

Crews have contained the fire to the house of origin and protected neighbouring exposures and they’re now extinguishing hot spots.

An internal search has not located anyone inside and the occupants are thought to be out of town however Police and Fire crews have not provided the official all clear yet.
