Car Crash Harbour Bridge - Millers Point

Just after 7am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a head on car crash on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The crash is on the south side of the bridge and traffic is severely affected in both directions. All northbound lanes are closed.

Two persons are trapped rescue crews from NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW are on scene working to free the patients.

A helicopter ambulance has also landed on the Harbour Bridge for patient transport.

Due to the associated traffic chaos, crews from The Rocks Fire Station made their way through traffic on foot to transport life saving equipment.
