House Fire - Engadine

Just before 2am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW Five crews from across the Sutherland Shire attended a house fire on Lantana Road, Engadine.

Crews arrived to find the single story house well alight and immediately began fighting the fire as it spread throughout the home.

A total of six crews were on scene and worked until approximately 3:30am to contain the blaze.

One resident and baby were transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance as a precaution.

Investigations into the cause are ongoing.
