House fire - Kingsgrove

Fire and Rescue NSW has attended a house fire on Northcott Avenue, Kingsgrove after numerous calls to triple zero at 1.38pm today.

Crews from Campsie, Arncliffe and Hurstville attended the address where they found a large amount of smoke issuing from the roof of the house.

A man was taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance after being injured in the fire.

The fire has been brought under control, however the house was severely damaged.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
