Hazmat Incident - Deauville

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Laurieton and Port Macquarie Fire Stations are currently attending an incident on Lord Street, Deauville after an excavator was submerged in the Hastings River.

The excavator is believed to hold both diesel and hydraulic oil, though there are currently no visible leaks.

HAZMAT crew are on scene to assist with safe removal of the excavator.
