Construction Site Accident - Edmondson Park

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Liverpool and Horningsea Park Fire Stations are currently responding to an incident involving a worker being injured on a construction site in Sydney's South-West.

Crews arrived to the worksite on Soldiers Parade, Edmondson Park shortly before 1:30pm to assist the worker, who was reportedly was injured by a hoist.

Firefighters are working with Ambulance NSW to extradite the man from scaffolding.

*Update*
The rescue of the injured male was completed shortly after 2pm. He was treated on the scene and transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance.
