Fire in School - North Parramatta

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Rydalmere and Parramatta Fire Stations are in attendance at a reported fire at a school on Pennant Hills Road in North Parramatta.

A call to Triple Zero (000) shortly before 10:30am this morning reported a fire in a school building.

Crews arrived to find a smouldering fire which was quickly extinguished.

Investigations are ongoing, though initial reports suggest the fire could be related to solar panels on the school building's roof.

Staff and students have evacuated impacted buildings.

Crews remain on scene to monitor the situation.
