Semi trailer alight containing aerosols - Glenfield

Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to a semi trailer alight in a service station at 9:39pm last night.

The truck, containing a mixed load, was well alight on arrival with a large number of aerosol cans exploding at the incident.

Fire and Rescue crews from Horningsea Park, St Andrews, Macquarie Fields, Busby and Huntingwood Stations worked to extinguish the fire and the incident was cleared approximately forty minutes after the initial Triple Zero (000) call.

The fire was contained with no damage to the service station. The trailer of the truck was destroyed.
