Car crash and major gas leak - Yass

At about 8pm this evening Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to attend a car crash.
Crews from Yass arrived to find a car had hit a building and ruptured a gas main.
Firefighters worked with NSW Police to evacuate the surrounding building which included a large amount of elderly residents in self-care accommodation.
