Shop Fire - Burwood

Just before 1:30am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW Communications Centre received numerous Triple Zero (000) calls to reports of a shop fire on George St, Burwood.
On arrival a developing fire was found and crews quickly got to work to extinguish the blaze. More than 20 firefighters battled the blaze for a number of hours and were able to contain the fire to the building of origin.
Luckily, no persons were reported injured during the blaze.
Fire investigators and working with NSW Police to determine the cause of the fire.
