Structure Fire - Fairfield

At around 7:30 this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to a fire in the garage of unit block in Fairfield.
Almost 20 firefighters from four different stations worked to extinguish the blaze and were able to contain it to the lower level of the building.
More than 30 residents were evacuated from the building, with NSW Ambulance paramedics called as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is still being determined.
