Injured Rock Climber Rescue - Phegans Bay

Just before 4:30pm today, Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters were called to reports of a man fallen and was injured down a cliff near Phegans Bay.

Specialist rescue crews from Gosford Fire Station attended the scene and formed a plan to package the patient into a stretcher and winch him into a helicopter.

Crews worked with NSW Ambulance Paramedics and successfully evacuated the patient by air just after 7:30pm.
