House Fire - Punchbowl

Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW attended a house fire in Punchbowl just before 2 pm this afternoon.

A triple zero call was received stating that a house on Heath Street was alight.

Neighbours reported thick black smoke coming from the home. A number of people were evacuated from the property including two children.

Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters worked using hose lines and breathing apparatus to contain and extinguish the fire.

Police and ambulance were also on scene.
