House Fire - Tweed West

This afternoon just before 2:00pm Tweed Heads Firefighters were called to a 'House Fire' at West Tweed.
On arrival 468 Alpha reported that there was a house well alight & were getting hose lines to work to attack the fire.
Shortly after Firefighters arrived on 468 Bravo, 468 Hazmat, 514 Banora Point & 347 Kingscliff & they were tasked to protect the exposures (houses on either side) & take another hose line to the rear of the property to attack the fire.

Crews knocked the fire down and then completed a secondary search for occupants, no one was found. They then commenced salvage, ventilation & overhaul.
Crews were in attendance for approximately 2 hours.
Also attending were Tweed Heads Police, Tweed Paramedics & Essential Energy.
