Car yard fire - Smeaton Grange

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from across the Macarthur & Wollondilly Region attended a fire in a car yard at Smeaton Grange in Sydney's South West.

Firefighters faced over 20 cars alight, with numerous gas cylinders involved and multiple magnesium explosions, with the closest water supply over 200 metres away.

Investigations into the cause are continuing.
