Hazard Reduction - Beauty Point

Published: 08 May 2020 10:22am

Fire and Rescue NSW are currently assisting National Parks and Wildlife Service in conducting a Hazard reduction in the Beauty Point area.

There are currently ten trucks from Fire and Rescue NSW, seven from the Rural Fire Service and 4 from National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Incident command is currently utilising one of two of Fire and Rescue NSW’s state of the art Mobile Command Centre (MCC).

The hazard reduction is 80% complete and we are hoping to have it completed by tomorrow afternoon. Motorists are advised to take care in the Alford’s point area as smoke may reduce visibility.
