House Fire - Granville

Around 8.40am Fire and Rescue NSW received numerous triple zero calls to reports of a house fire in Granville in Sydney’s West.

On arrival firefighters found smoke issuing from a roof of a home on Blaxcell St.

Upon entry to the fire effected area, a man in his seventies was located and rescued from the home. FRNSW Crews then performed CPR until the arrival of Ambulance NSW crews.

The fire was knocked down and is currently being extinguished. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
