Rescue Incident - Sydney

Shortly after 10:40am this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to Castlereagh Street, in Sydney's CBD following reports a man had fallen from a construction site.

Crews from City of Sydney Fire Station arrived on scene to find NSW Ambulance and NSW Police treating a male after he had fallen from internal scaffolding.

Due to the difficult access, firefighters utilised their Ladder Platform truck to rescue the patient from a second level window and lower him safely to the ground.

After the patient was stabilised on scene, he was then transported to hospital via NSW Ambulance.
