House Fire - Concord

At 2:10pm Fire and Rescue NSW received numerous calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting a house fire on Kingston Avenue, Concord.

Concord Fire Station arrived to find a granny flat and garage at the rear of the property well alight, with large plumes of smoke issuing from the back of the building.

Firefighters worked to contain the fire from both the front and rear entrance of the property for more than two hours, extinguishing it just after 4pm.

Crews evacuated six residents from the vicinity of the blaze, however no injuries were reported.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
