Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW), together with NSW Police and Ambulance Service NSW paramedics, were called to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Northumberland Ave and Pacific Highway, Mt Colah, shortly before 10am, today.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a four wheel drive vehicle which had appeared to have lost control and veered off the Pacific Highway - passing through the driveway of a petrol station, into a car port of an adjoining house, across a roadway, and into the fence of a second house.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle. A 13 year-old boy was also trapped beneath the vehicle.

Firefighters immediately administered first aid and established fire protection around the site. Together with paramedics, firefighters released both trapped victims, who have been conveyed to hospital for further treatment.

FRNSW crews have stabilised the damaged structures. NSW police are investigating the cause of the incident.
