17/7/11 - Unit fire in Warilla

Just after 2.30pm today crews from Warrawong and Shellharbour were responded to a unit fire in Osborne Pde Warilla. Prior to arrival crews were advised that a person was reported inside.Crews from Shellharbour arrived in 8 minutes, and immediately commenced search and rescue operations. Thankfully, there was nobody inside the unit. The fire was extinguished, with the unit sustaining fire damage to the kitchen and smoke damage throughout. Crews ventilated the unit prior to leaving.
