14/7/11 - Raymond Terrace fire threatens LPG cylinder

A rubbish fire, predominantly cardboard, at the rear of a shop in Adelaide St Raymond Terrace threatened to spread to a 80kg LPG cylinder today.Crews from Tarro were called to the fire, and were able to extinguish it prior to the LPG cylinder becoming involved, and cooled the cylinder from the radiant heat of the fire.
Smoke from the fire penetrated the shop, which was ventilated by the fire crew from Tarro before they left the scene.
