9/7/11 - Fatal House Fire in Greendale

Early this evening FRNSW crews from Warragamba, Horningsea Park and Regentville assisted crews from the RFS at a house fire in Greendale.The house was completely involved in fire when crews arrived. One person was outside the house with injuries, and one person was reported to be inside. Unfortunately, search and rescue revealed one deceased person within the building.
The fire was the beginning of a tragic weekend, with another fire fatality occurring on Sunday morning.
