4/7/11 - House fire in Broken Hill

Crews from Broken Hill and Broken Hill South responded to a house fire this evening.They were called at 5.15pm, and arrived on scene within 4 minutes to find a single storey house well alight. The fire was fought by 20 firefighters, with crews in breathing apparatus conducting search and rescue procedures. It was extinguished by 2 hoselines, and 50% of the property was saved.
