11/06/11 - Spate of seven house fires

A spate of house fires has once again occurred during heavy rains across the state today (Saturday 11 June).
An unconscious man was rescued by firefighters from his smoke ridden house at Rozelle. Foodstuffs left unattended on the stove caused the serious incident.
Kitchen fires also caused major damage at residences in North Parramatta and Tuggerah.
Houses were also severely damaged by fires at Minto, Punchbowl, Willmot and Burrill Lake.
