26/04/11 - Large coal storage fire burns all day

NSW Fire & Rescue crews have spent the day trying to extinguish a blaze burning at Coalcliff. The fire involving a large coal storage pile was reported last night at about 6.45pm and has created a large amount of smoke at the Illawarra Coke Company. The fire has now been contained and crews are investigating the cause of the blaze.
