27/01/11 - Automotive workshop fire at South Windsor

At 10.33pm on Thursday 27 January, fifty firefighters from Windsor, Richmond, Riverstone, Cranebrook, Dunheved, Mt Druitt, Blacktown, Penrith and St Marys responded to a large fire in an Automotive repair workshopin Ham Street, South Windsor. Crews were able to force their way into the industrial unit and quickly contain the fire to an office area. Good firefighting techniques by crews contained the fire before it could spread to two adjoining tyre warehouses. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
