21/01/11 - Factory saved and three residential fires

Today, FRNSW processed 714 reports of incidents across the state. Highlights include:Four fire crews quickly responded to a fire in a cold storage area of a factory at Minto and quickly contained the fire from spreading throughout the factory complex.
Fire crews also responded to three residential fires today at Birmingham Gardens, Old Guildford and East Tamworth. Two of these incidents occurred in kitchen areas.
Firefighters attended two small bush and grass fires at Toukley and behind the Kurri Kurri Bowling Club.
Today Fire and Rescue NSW also responded to three gas incidents, two burst water pipes and two snake incidents.
Today Fire Rescue crews attended 38 motor vehicle incidents.
