17/01/11 - Nine residential fires

Today, the NSWFB processed 649 reports of incidents across the state. Highlights include:Fire Rescue officers today attended nine residential fires at Ermington, Maroubra, Mt Colah, Westmead, Nowra, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and houses with very extensive damage at Auburn and Dee Why.
A caravan was also destroyed by fire at Leumeah.
Fire crews attended a restaurant fire at Manly.
There were several Hazmat incidents attended today including Budgewoi.
Today Fire Rescue crews attended 33 motor vehicle incidents including incidents at Rhodes, Kyeema and Minto. Firefighters also rescued a girl whose leg was trapped in a chair at Illawong.
