16/01/11 - Four kitchen fires cause damage

Today, the NSWFB processed 579 reports of incidents across the state. Highlights include:Fire Rescue officers today attended five residential fires including four caused by kitchen incidents at Bidwill, Bonnet Bay, Katoomba and Broken Hill. A unit also sustained fire damage at Bankstown.
Crews at North Gosford quickly contained a small bush fire.
There were several Hazmat incidents attended today including West Wollongong and Dubbo.
Today Fire Rescue crews attended 31 motor vehicle incidents including a serious incident at Belford and an incident on the Western Motorway.
