Today, the NSWFB processed 829 reports of incidents across the state. Highlights include:Today firefighters responded to nine residential fires at Ingleburn, Minto, Potts Point, McMahons Point, Granville, Blacktown, Cooranbong, Rutherford and Dubbo. Two of these fires were as a result of foodstuffs left unattended on stoves.
Firefighters also extinguished grass fires at Greta and Cardiff and fires at a small electrical sub station at Blaxland a shop at Merrylands, and a BBQ gas cylinder at Fernhill.
Today Fire Rescue officers responded to 26 motor vehicle incidents across NSW including serious incidents at Penrith, Kingsgrove and Wollongong.
