28/11/10 - Two residential fires and a car fire in a service station.

Today, the NSWFB processed 962 reports of incidents across the state. Highlights include:

A kitchen fire in a unit at Mudgee today resulted in one male receiving burns and requiring treatment by ambulance officers on scene.

A derelict house at Tweed heads was also destroyed by fire today.

A car on fire in a service station at Forestville caused concern for firefighters as several bowsers became involved in the fire. The car also had an LP gas cylinder located in the rear of the vehicle. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. The car and a bowser were destroyed by the blaze.

Firefighters quickly contained a restaurant kitchen fire at Tamworth.

Today Fire Rescue Officers responded to 47 motor vehicle accidents across NSW including a serious incident at Warwick Farm.
