17/11/10 - Two residential fires, five serious motor vehicle accidents.

Today, the NSWFB processed 493 reports of incidents across NSW. Highlights include:Today was a busy day for Fire Rescue Officers who were called to five serious motor vehicle accidents at Arndell Park, Eastern Creek, Brighton-le-Sands, Katoomba and Yattalunga. Fourteen people were also rescued from a lift at Hurstville.
There were two residential fires at Bidwill and Port Kembla. Firefighters also responded to a minor structure fire at Villawood and worked for several hours to clear a major spillage on Old Windsor Rd at Glenwood.
