16/11/10 - Three kitchen fires put two in hospital, four serious motor vehicle accidents

The NSWFB recorded a total of 524 incidents across the state today. Highlights include:Today firefighters attended four residential fires at Granville, Strathfield, Wyoming and Wollongong. Three of these fires resulted from cooking incidents and required two people to be transported to hospital with burns and smoke inhalation.
Firefighters also attended a small fire in a doctor's surgery at Charlestown, a restaurant fire at Rose Bay and a gas leak at Dapto.
Fire Rescue Officers attended four motor vehicle accidents at Heathcote, Rosewood, Katoomba and a car into a house at Gordon.
