14/11/10 - Five residential fires, horse rescue and a gas leak

The NSWFB recorded a total of 519 incidents across the state today. Highlights include:Firefighters attended five residential fires including a laundry at Caringbah, kitchen at South Penrith, bedroom at Maryong, carpet at Muswellbrook and a granny flat and shed were totally destroyed by fire at Villawood.
Fire Rescue Officers, assisted by the RFS, rescued a horse trapped in a septic tank at Londonderry and fire crews also attended a serious gas leak at Tweed Heads.
