13/11/10 - Four residential fires, four people hospitalised, one dog rescued and three building fires.

The NSWFB recorded a total of 762 incidents across the state today. Highlights include:

Firefighters attended four residential fires including a domestic garage at Kincumber, kitchen at Maryland and a bedroom fire at Penrith which required four people to be transported to hospital with smoke inhalation. The fourth residential fire involved a laundry fire at Cronulla where firefighters rescued a small dog trapped by smoke.

Firefighters also attended two building fires at Mt Druitt and Budgewoi and a third large building fire at Newcastle which required thirty firefighters from six stations to extinguish.

Firefighters also attended a chemical spill at Adamstown.
