21/10/10 - Woman rescued by firefighters at Telopea

Firefighters today rescued an unconscious woman who had been overcome by smoke in the lounge room of her unit at Telopea. The fire was quickly extinguished. The woman was carried from her unit by firefighters and treated by ambulance crews on scene. A house was also extensively damaged by fire at Toormina and an electrical fire was extinguished at a house at Mt Colah. Fire crews extinguished a gas cylinder fire at a house at Penrith.
