Perisher crew assist in rescue

The firefighters from Perisher assisted the other emergency services in the rescue of two skiers trapped in blizzard conditions at Charlottes Pass overnight. The crew utilised both Hagglunds all terrain vehicles to assist the searchers as they made their way in atrocious conditions to the search area and then help transport the rescuers and the rescued back from Charlottes Pass Lookout. Fortunately, this all night operation had a successful conclusion.
