Building fire at Bathurst

Fire officers from Bathurst and Kelso responded to a building alight at Rankin St, Bathurst early this morning. When they arrived, they found a building that housed several businesses already fully involved in fire and threatening surrounding houses. The firefighters immediately started using hoselines to protect these houses and extinguish the fire. They utilised four hoselines and were successful in containing the fire to the one building. It took several hours to extinguish the fire.
