Unit fire in Riverwood

Just after midnight fire crews from Kogarah, Hurstville, Riverwood, Mortdale, Campsie and Lakemba responded to a unit fire in Kentucky Rd Riverwood. The fire was in a bed sitter unit on the ground floor. Crews in breathing apparatus searched the 2 level building to ensure all occupants were out. The fire was extinguished with 1 hose line, and crews firefighters were in attendance for 2 hours.
