Factory Fire in Marsden Park

A 6th alarm factory fire in South St Marsden Park kept crews busy for up to 5 hours from 8.30 pm last night. Over 60 Firefighters from surrounding NSWFB and RFS stations, plus Senior Officers were involved in fighting the fire. The fire was in the roof void and plant room of the building, which was a large vacant structure. As the fire was located in the electrical plant room, crews had to wait for confirmation from Energy Australia that power was isolated before moving in for the final extinguishment.
