House fires in Green Valley and Ingleburn

A house fire in Memorial Ave Ingleburn kept fire crews busy in the early evening. Fire crews from St Andrews, Ingleburn and Macquarie Fields attended the fire, bringing it under controls using 3 hose lines. 30% of the house was severely damaged by the fire. Earlier in the afternoon crews from Horningsea Park, Busby and Bonnyrigg Heights responded to a house fire in Thistle Circuit Green Valley. What was originally a call to an alarm ringing, was found to be a fire in a 2nd level bedroom of the house. The fire was extinguished by 2 hose lines, and contained to the room of origin.
