Garage fire in Mayfield

24 firefighters from 5 stations were kept busy at a fire in a domestic garage in Mayfield. 4 crews wearing Breathing Apparatus extinguished the fire with 2 hose lines. The contents of the steel framed double garage were destroyed by the fire, and the area was barricaded off due to the danger of collapse.
