Large Factory Fire in Warriewood

The Commissioner today attended a large factory fire in Prosperity Pde Warriewood. The fire was in a factory 80m x 40m, in a complex of 6 units. There was a fire in one of the units, and the firefighting efforts of the crews were able to contain it to the unit of origin. It was extinguished using 5 Fire Engines, 2 Ladder Platforms, 2 monitors and numerous hoses. All up 100 firefighters,18 Fire Engines, 3 Ladder Platforms plus Hazmat and support vehicles attended the fire.
