Residences at Dee Why, Erskine Park and Dundas Valley saved from major fire damage

A unit in Dee Why Parade, Dee Why sustained damage to the kitchen area due to foodstuffs alight on the stove at around 4.00pm today. The fire was extinguished by attending fire crews from three surrounding stations. At 6.13pm fire crews were called to a heater malfunctioning in a house in Ballyleaney Place at Erskine Park and were fortunately able to prevent major fire damage. Another unit in Yates Avenue, Dundas Valley sustained fire damage to the kitchen area from food left cooking on a stove at around 10.00pm.
