Six residential fires put six people in hospital

Today, fire crews were called to a house fire in Northcott Ave, Wattanobbi at 1.18am, a bedroom fire in Vonn Ave, Smithfield at 12.39pm, a kitchen fire in Frampton Ave, St Clair at 5.38pm, a kitchen fire in Warea St, Blacksmith at 6.23pm, a unit fire in Boyd St, Tweed Heads at 6.52pm and a bedroom fire in Cammarlie St, Panania at 10.54pm. A total of six people were injured and transported to hospital from these fires.
