Bolton Point - House damaged by fire

A house was extensively damaged by fire this morning at Mulawa Place at Bolton Point in Lake Macquarie. Fire crews were called to the single level fibro cottage just before 11.00 am and arrived on scene within nine minutes. They reported that the rear of the cottage was well alight and worked for half an hour to extinguish the fire. Fire crews from Waratah, Teralba and Toronto attended the incident which is currently being investigated.
