Rescue at the MLC Centre

Published: 28th February 2010

Fire rescue officers from the City of Sydney responded to assist police rescue officers at the MLC centre just after 11:30am. Two people had been working in a cherry picker in Rowe Lane when it broke down. They were 22m up the side of the building and were unable to move nor were there any windows or balconies from which they could be rescued. The fire rescue officers were able to utilise the Ladder Platform from the City of Sydney to safely rescue the two people.
